With immediate effect, the METUS^® software is integrated into the leading PLM solution Teamcenter by Siemens PLM Software. The interface was developed by BCT Technology AG in Willstätt, with which ID-Systems has started a comprehensive design and sales partnership.

Which additional benefits to the user does the integration of METUS^® into one of the leading PLM solutions offer? “One advantage of the Teamcenter integration is that existing product structures could be imported into METUS^® and worked on, reducing the input effort. New products are rarely created from scratch, but are usually based on existing components which are then developed onwards“, says Dr. Jan Göpfert, CEO of ID-Consult. “Even more important is the possibility to manage the product architectures created with METUS^® in Teamcenter and to use these in further development. This assures that the requirements, norms, functions, variants and modules, which were defined with METUS^® in the conceptual phase, will actually be used“.
