METUS is integrated into the world of ERP and PLM systems. In our partnership with Siemens Industry Software, we ensure product data consistency in downstream engineering and production systems. 

Seamless integration into corporate IT and processes

With the METUS® software, the product architecture is defined and optimized according to the respectively guiding criteria – variance, costs, manufacturing, modularization, etc.

The product architectures created in METUS® represent validated, optimized input data for PLM systems.

With the Siemens TEAMCENTER interface, data can be exchanged bidirectionally between METUS® and Siemens TEAMCENTER: The PLM data backbone for the management of the product is thereby supplemented by a conception level for the design of the optimum product architecture – a product architecture sandbox that enables you to find the optimum variance that can then be stringently managed in the PLM environment.

Additional apps are available for the import of data into METUS® from various business systems. Custom apps can be created for the integration of additional systems and processes.

The architecture model designed with METUS® forms the DNA of the product and therefore represents the intellectual property of the company. A sophisticated rights concept guarantees that every employee receives access only to the subset of data relevant to his or her work.

The METUS® software is also optimized for various roles in the product creation process: Product architects and product managers can take advantage of the full power of the desktop app while other employees can view the METUS models using the METUS® Online web version.
